Most users will spend quite a bit of time using “solid” modeling techniques. This section will cover the basics of solid modeling and take you through the features, within SOLIDWORKS, that apply to solid modeling.

Start with the sketching section and reference geometries, so that you can effectively create your base sketches, and then jump to the section that is the most relevant to the parts that you model.
