2D Simplification
You can save analysis time by using the 2D simplification option and simulating applicable 3D models in 2D. 2D models require fewer mesh elements and less complex contact conditions compared to the 3D models. This process is available for static, nonlinear, pressure vessel design, thermal studies, and design studies. Enjoy.
