I want you to think of the tools that you use most frequently in SOLIDWORKS, especially the ones that you have to search out or are hidden deep in the pull down menus. Why don’t you have keyboard shortcuts for these? I had to ask myself the same question after one too many times of going to pull down menu and choosing View > Hide/Show > Hide All Types. That may seem like a pretty simple process, but after doing this 10, 20, maybe even a hundred times, in a single session of SOLIDWORKS, I realized I should stop being so lazy and add a keyboard shortcut.
